About Library.Antimilitarism.org

A completer UNDER CONSTRUCTION - multi-lingual online library of relevant texts for anarchist antimilitarists.

Proposal for mission text (still under debate and open for amending):

"Invitation for a collaborative effort to collect and present radical anti-militarist texts in many languages to contribute to an active militarist struggle.

www.Library.antimilitarism.org is an anarchist initiative by some comrades who want to contribute to the radical antimilitarist struggle by collecting and offering a multi-lingual database of texts that are relevant for this struggle.

This means that the library is not tied to a specific current, organisation or 'line' except for some basic guidelines (like no campism, since that doesn't reach the bar of anti-militarism as it merely offers excuses for specific militarist camps). This means that lively, constructive debate is encouraged but not sectarian infighting.

We invite people of all languages allover the world to contribute texts, translate texts, publish and discuss texts and exchange real-life experiences of how they organize and struggle, their victories and their losses, the obstacles and counter-strategies they encounter, the help they require, etc.

While this invitation is written in English, we want to break out of the near-monopoly of this monopoly language, while also acknowledging that it is also the only one we have to break this monopoly. Please contact us if you want to get involved.

As you will surely notice, the project just got started and it will need a lot of adaptations, trials and errors, etc. So for now we would invite you to concentrate your efforts to making the project work by contributing texts, sending feedback, etc rather than randomly spread the website for now.

We will need local groups of trusted comrades to set up projects that focus on 'fighting where you stand', with your own social media, printing and distribution, scanning and gathering sources, translation groups, and whatever comes up as being useful.

Some of us have digital skills, experience in organizing or digitizing, etc.

So please reach out if you run into some trouble or just want to connect.

And we hope to see you somewhere in the trenches.

FIGHT WAR, NOT WARS.

AGAINST THEIR WAR, AGAINST THEIR 'PEACE'."
